CNC Programmer/Setter Location: Cross Hills Salary: £35,000 + overtime available A well-established manufacturer in Keighley is looking to expand its team with an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter. With upcoming retirements creating opportunities, this is a chance to step into a hands-on role within a modern, forward-thinking engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: Programming, setting, and operating CNC mills and/or lathes Working from SOPs and detailed engineering drawings Conducting self-inspection to uphold quality standards Recommending and supporting improvements to machining processes Supporting apprentices and upholding company values The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience in CNC machining (milling, turning, or both) Confident programming ability using Fanuc, Siemens 840D, or Heidenhain controls A sound understanding of Health & Safety, ISO9001:2015, and 5S principles A proactive, flexible attitude with strong communication skills Success in the Role Will Be Measured By: High “right first time” and on-time output Low NCR (Non-Conformance Report) rates Consistently strong housekeeping and 5S standards Benefits Include: 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) 8% pension (4% employer / 4% employee) 39-hour week, Monday to Friday, with flexitime and early Friday finish Paid sick leave (after 6 months) Free onsite parking Employee Assistance Programme (including access to professional counselling) Death in Service benefit Cycle to Work scheme and onsite shower facilities Company-wide Christmas shutdown By applying for this position, you consent to Recruit Engineering processing and storing your personal data, including your CV, contact details, and any other relevant information, for the purpose of providing work-finding services.
