We have a great opportunity for you to join the friendly team of a lovely and very popular cafe in Whitehaven. The hours are between 28 and 35 per week and you will be working 5 days per week which will include Saturdays. There is no evening working and you will get your Sundays off (except in December when the cafe does open on Sundays for festive feasts!).

Your job will be to:

  • Greet customers.
  • Take customer orders.
  • Take payments.
  • Make teas and coffees.
  • Serve food.
  • Clear tables.
  • Mop floors and keep surfaces clean.
  • Help with the counter and cabinet displays.

The cafe seats 120 customers and can get pretty busy at times, so the ideal candidate will be someone who can "keep calm and carry on". There is a good customer mix of regular and new and it will be your job to ensure that each one of them has a great experience.
