Lex Exec is working with a leading international law firm looking to add an experienced Employment lawyer to its Cheltenham team.
This is an opportunity to undertake sophisticated, high-quality Employment work while building your career outside London.
The practice advises major employers, senior executives and private clients across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
- complex Employment Tribunal litigation
- discrimination and whistleblowing
- senior exits and settlement agreements
- workplace investigations
- restructurings and redundancy
- TUPE
- restrictive covenants
- strategic HR and employment advisory work
- employment support on corporate transactions
The successful lawyer is likely to have at least 4 years' PQE, although we are happy to hear from strong candidates slightly either side of this level.
Location
The role is based in Cheltenham, with hybrid working.
You do not necessarily need to live in Cheltenham.
The office is readily accessible from Cheltenham Spa station, making the opportunity potentially workable for lawyers based across Gloucestershire, Bristol, Worcester, Swindon and Birmingham, as well as the wider Cotswolds.
I would also be particularly interested in speaking with lawyers currently in London who have previous ties to Cheltenham or Gloucestershire and may be interested in returning to the region without compromising on the quality of their work.
About Lex Exec
Lex Exec is a specialist legal recruitment business focused on a small number of practice areas where we have deep market knowledge and established candidate networks.
We recruit lawyers from NQ through to Partner level and work with leading UK and international law firms on retained, exclusive and difficult-to-fill searches.
Our approach is deliberately targeted rather than volume-led. We take the time to understand both the opportunity and the individual lawyer, and we only make introductions where there is a genuine fit.
