Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Days | 33 hours per week

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care within a welcoming nursing home in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf (CF39). You will assess residents' physical, emotional and social care needs, develop and review person-centred care plans, administer medication safely and work collaboratively with relatives and the wider multidisciplinary team. The home provides nursing and dementia care within a warm environment, featuring beautifully maintained gardens, comfortable en-suite bedrooms and an active lifestyle programme designed to support residents' wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess residents' nursing, health and wellbeing needs.
  • Develop, implement and regularly review person-centred care plans.
  • Administer medications safely in accordance with NMC guidelines.
  • Deliver high standards of clinical nursing care.
  • Support and supervise junior members of the nursing and care team.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in mandatory training and ongoing professional development.
  • Promote dignity, independence and resident choice at all times.
  • Maintain safe clinical practice and comply with relevant policies and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • No sponsorship available. Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Previous nursing experience within elderly care, nursing homes or similar healthcare settings is desirable.
  • Experience providing person-centred nursing care within a nursing home environment.
  • Confident undertaking assessments, care planning and medication administration.
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and professional approach.
  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
