We welcome applicants with a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification. You’ll support children aged three months to five years in a setting where outdoor exploration, creativity and child-led learning are part of everyday life. About the nursery: The nursery combines the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach. Children are encouraged to explore their interests, develop ideas and build independence through play and meaningful experiences. Creative spaces and outdoor learning give you opportunities to contribute your own ideas. Previous Forest School or Reggio Emilia experience is welcome but is not essential. Your responsibilities: * Provide safe, attentive and nurturing care, supporting children’s routines, wellbeing and development. * Create engaging indoor and outdoor activities that encourage play, exploration and independence. * Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning records and planning. * Build warm, professional relationships with parents and carers. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care. * Follow the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures and nursery policies. About you: * A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification. * Understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities. * A caring, reliable approach and the ability to work collaboratively. * Enthusiasm for child-led, creative and outdoor learning. * Ability to travel reliably to West Grinstead, RH13 8LY. Previous nursery experience would be valuable. Your approach and commitment to children’s development matter; experience of a particular educational approach is not required.
