An exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a specialist allied health service supporting neurodiverse children and young people across school, home, community and clinic environments. This flexible Associate opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within private healthcare and private education settings while working alongside a highly experienced clinical team.

Employment Type: Contract | Associate / Self-Employed Part-Time or Full-Time, All Year Round or Term Time Minimum 38 weeks per year

Salary: £36.00 - £40.00 per hour + benefits

Pay & Benefits:

  • Outside IR35 contract arrangement
  • Paid travel time (£19.80 per hour)

  • Coverage area includes Crondall, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton and surrounding Hampshire locations

Job Description: As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will support neurodiverse children and young people aged 2–25 years across educational, community, home and clinic settings throughout Crondall, Hampshire (GU10) and surrounding areas including Farnborough, Basingstoke, Winchester and Southampton. Working within a specialist paediatric Occupational Therapy service, you will undertake Occupational Therapy assessments, treatment planning, intervention delivery, EHCP recommendations and outcome reporting for children and young people with autism, sensory processing difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions, learning disabilities and associated needs. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, educators and multidisciplinary teams while benefiting from structured supervision, ongoing CPD and opportunities to develop specialist skills in areas such as Sensory Integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive paediatric Occupational Therapy assessments
  • Develop individualised treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
  • Support neurodiverse children and young people aged 2–25 years
  • Complete EHCP assessments, recommendations and associated reports
  • Deliver therapy across school, home, clinic and community settings
  • Provide detailed clinical documentation and outcome reporting
  • Work collaboratively with families, educators and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to tribunal reports and professional recommendations where required
  • Maintain HCPC standards, clinical governance and professional practice requirements
  • Promote participation, independence and functional development outcomes

Requirements:

  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
  • BSc Occupational Therapy and HCPC Registration
  • HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum 2–4 years' paediatric Occupational Therapy experience
  • Experience supporting neurodiverse children, autism and sensory processing needs
  • Ability to assess, plan and deliver effective paediatric Occupational Therapy interventions
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building and report‑writing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Ability to travel across Crondall, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton and surrounding areas
