The Role
We’re looking for a technically minded all-rounder to support pre-construction across multiple developments, moving projects from feasibility to site start. This role is also suitable for professionals with experience as a Pre-Construction Engineer, Technical Project Coordinator, Development Technical Coordinator, Construction Development Engineer, Design Coordinator, or Assistant Design Manager.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Pre-Construction (Technical) to:
- Support pre-construction activities across multiple developments
- Review technical information, including drawings, surveys, and site reports
- Identify design, technical, and delivery risks and opportunities
- Assist in early discussions with statutory bodies
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Monitor technical obligations post-land exchange
- Attend project launch and handover meetings
- Liaise with consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in construction, development, or housebuilding
- Experience with developers or main contractors preferred
- Strong understanding of development and pre-construction processes
- Skilled at reviewing technical drawings and reports
- Excellent organisation, multitasking, and communication skills
- Strong IT proficiency (Word, Excel)
- Engineering-focused mindset rather than architectural
