About the Company: Our client is a forward-thinking property consultancy based near Halifax, specialising in commercial, retail, education, residential, and industrial projects, typically valued up to £2.5M. With a strong focus on delivering outstanding service to private clients, they are now looking for an Associate Director to aid in the growth of the business, with the potential of running the company as the existing main Director takes a back seat in the years to come.
The Role: As a Director, you will be a driving force behind the company’s project management and design operations, responsible for overseeing and managing projects from site acquisition through to project completion. You’ll help to lead a skilled consultant project team, delivering new builds, refurbishments, and extensions. Additionally, you'll undertake your own workload while maintaining strong relationships with clients. A key aspect of your role will be building and nurturing client relationships and generating new income streams for the business. You will be expected to proactively engage with existing and potential clients, securing new projects and helping to grow the company’s revenue.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or nearing completion.
- A strong network and proven ability to build lasting client relationships and generate new income for the business.
- Outstanding communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise commercial advice.
- Proven experience managing private sector projects up to at least £2M.
- Strong understanding of building construction types and on-site management.
- Ability to manage conflicting workloads, both independently and within a collaborative team.
