We’re working with a thriving Property Consultancy that’s built its reputation on delivering quality schemes across commercial, retail, education, industrial and residential sectors. They’re busy, they’re growing, and they need someone who can take control of the design coordination process and keep projects moving. This isn’t a passive support role. You’ll sit at the centre of live projects — working with clients directly, coordinating consultants, managing submissions, dealing with planners and statutory bodies, and working directly alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors and Designers. You’ll see projects from early feasibility and site appraisal right through to completion. If you enjoy being the person who joins the dots, solves problems and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks — you’ll thrive here.

What you’ll actually be doing:

  • Supporting client meetings and helping shape clear, deliverable briefs
  • Investigating planning history, site constraints and technical risks
  • Appointing and coordinating external consultants
  • Driving planning and Building Regulation submissions through to approval
  • Liaising with local authorities, utilities and statutory bodies
  • Reviewing drawings and technical information for compliance
  • Keeping programmes on track and information flowing

What they’re looking for:

  • Degree or HND in a construction-related discipline
  • Experience in consultancy, architectural practice or construction
  • Solid understanding of planning and technical delivery stages
  • Knowledge of CDM / H&S requirements
  • Strong organisation and coordination skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, MS Project

Why this role stands out:

  • Established, stable consultancy with repeat clients
  • Genuine exposure across the full project lifecycle
  • Varied workload — no two schemes are the same
  • Direct access to decision-makers
  • Salary up to £45,000 + car allowance
  • 25 days holiday + pension
  • Long-term development within a respected regional business
