Are you a confident leader who inspires others and drives high standards in care? If so, Lightsky Group is looking for you to join us as Registered Manager. You will lead a specialist residential service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex conditions. You will shape culture, strengthen compliance, and guide a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. This is a leadership role for someone who develops others, leads with confidence, and is ready to take an established service to the next level.
About the Service
Silver Tree Lodge is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 8 adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and diabetes support requirements. The service promotes independence, choice, and community involvement within a safe and supportive environment, with a strong focus on person-centred care.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a confident, compassionate leader who brings professionalism and heart. Someone who leads by example, motivates others, and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will have:
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in health & social care
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and person-centred care
- Experience within learning disabilities, mental health settings
- A calm, people-focused leadership style with confident decision-making ability
- Strong experience in audits, compliance, and service improvement
- Ability to manage incidents, complaints, and operational pressures effectively
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent (essential)
- Level 5 Leadership & Management or willingness to work towards (desirable)
What You’ll Be Doing
Every day you’ll make a difference. You’ll be:
- Leading the service and ensuring strong CQC compliance
- Coaching and developing staff and future leaders
- Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, MCA, DoLS, and medication management
- Driving quality improvement through audits, action plans, and service development
- Promoting a positive, person-centred culture across the service
- Participating in the on-call rota (approximately 1 in 8 weeks, with uplift)
