Able Care Homes is seeking a driven and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the delivery of high-quality care and lead a committed team at our Belvedere Lodge home.
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team at Belvedere Lodge, a welcoming residential care home specialising in elderly and dementia care. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader or existing Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive organisation.
You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure high standards of care, compliance, and team performance, while remaining hands-on and visible within the home.
About You
- Hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent
- Have previous experience in a leadership role within residential care
- Be confident with medication management and administration
- Demonstrate a hands-on, approachable management style
- Have a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Be a driver (essential)
- Strong understanding of CQC Regulations and current policies

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Leading, motivating, and developing the care team
- Ensuring high standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations
- Overseeing medication management and administration
- Conducting spot checks and maintaining quality assurance
- Taking part in the on-call rota (approx. 1 in 6 weeks, advisory support)
