Recruit Assist are hiring multiple Van Drivers for Furniture Fitters for a home furniture company based in Dagenham. This position involves working as part of a two or three person crew, delivering and installing home furniture for luxury clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering and installing home furniture in the room of choice.
- Working as part of a 2 or 3 person delivery team.
- Using general tools such as hand drills, screwdrivers, levels, soft mallets, screws, etc., to install basic flat pack furniture (full training will be provided).
- Returning packaging and shredding.
- Checking orders before loading onto the van.
- Making pre-delivery phone calls to customers.
Pay: £16.00 per hour with holiday pay.
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:15 am to 5:00 pm.
Start Date: Monday next week, 3 months project with potential ongoing work into the new year.
Location: Dagenham (parking onsite).
Candidate Requirements:
- Max 3 points on license.
- Previous experience of furniture delivery.
- Previous experience of furniture assembly.
- Driving license required for the work vehicle.
- Experience of driving a high box van.
- Customer delivery experience is essential.
- Presentable, friendly, and attentive.
