Recruit Assist are hiring HGV2 drivers to be part of a 2 to 3 man crew for contract and seasonal work. Our client is a drinks delivery company based across two sites in Aylesbury, we require a driver to support the drivers mate porter with the delivery of drinks.
PAY PER HOUR: £23.00 per hour with holiday pay
LOCATION: Aylesbury
START TIMES: 6am or 7am start (depending on routes)
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday (some Saturdays may be required)
HGV2 TASKS:
- Delivery of drinks, alcohol, wines, beer kegs
- Assisting with preparing and checking the vehicle
- Hand balling drink orders and beer kegs
- Heavy lifting and carrying of drinks
- Short and semi long distance driving
- Approx 10 hour day
- Delivering to restaurants, clubs, bars and hospitality
DRIVER COMPLIANCE:
- Minimum of 6 months HGV2 experience
- Previous experience of delivery drinks will be ideal
- Capable of lifting and carrying stock of the vehicle
- Max 6 points
- CPC, Tacho and Driving License
