We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mot Tester to join our main dealer team in St Helens

As a skilled Mot Tester you will be responsible for performing Mot\’s on a variety of vehicles of all makes and models. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and diagnostic equipment.
This is a full-time position Monday- Friday and Saturday (8.30 -12.30) mornings on a team rota With a competitive basic salary of £28000. Your experience will dictate the salary, we will pay the right money for the right technician With a Ote of £34,000+.
You will need your own tools and a full driving licence. Level 3 or above at imi / nvq or similar certification. Time served candidates also welcome.
Duties:
– Perform vehicle mot\’s within established guidelines
– Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and recommend necessary repairs
– Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
– Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns
Skills:
– Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs
– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
