We are a local successful automotive mot and service centre In Dunsold due to retirement, we need an additional hard working ethical Mot tester to join our dedicated team. Mot tester Candidate summary We need a dedicated skilled and detail-oriented MOT Tester Must hold a full Uk driving licence, tools and Live mot card. You must have the right to work in the uk as there is no possibility of a work sponsorship for this role. Monday - Friday 8 - 18.30 starting salary £42,000 rising to £45,000 after 3 month's probation. There is also a £500 a month bonus in place Ote £50,000 Responsibilities for the Mot tester * Conduct thorough MOT tests on a variety of vehicle makes and models, adhering strictly to legal and safety standards. * Inspect key vehicle components including brakes, suspension, lights, tyres, and exhaust systems. * Identify any defects or issues that may cause the vehicle to fail the MOT test and communicate findings clearly to customers or management. * Complete all necessary documentation accurately and maintain detailed records of each inspection. * Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained regularly for optimal performance. * Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during testing procedures. * Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks when required, including minor repairs or adjustments.
