Due to an internal promotion at our automotive service and mot centre in Eastleigh we are looking for a Permanent Full-time Front desk Service / sales advisor. You will have motor industry knowledge and may be a current service advisor or parts advisor, someone with a great upsell capability. Please only apply if you have Motor trade experience as this is 100% required for this role This is a Monday - Friday role with working hours of 08.30am - 17.30pm. 4 weeks holidays plus all bank holidays and a extended Christmas shut down (Paid) Salary is between £32000 and £35,000 (experience dependent) plus bonus About the Service advisor role As a Service / sales advisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the success of our service, maintenance, and repair operations. What we value most is your ability to champion exceptional customer service, and drive operational excellence by being the face / voice of the business. Your Key Responsibilities as a Service / sales advisor * Along with the depot manager manage our customer face to face, on the phone or by email. ensuring targets are met and quality is consistently maintained. * Foster strong communication between departments, and customers ensuring a seamless workflow. * Plan work levels to optimise output and productivity in the workshop. * Promote professional upsell opportunities through customer service and technician reports. * Represent our brand ensuring a positive experience at every touchpoint * Track and manage bookings, estimates, and customer interactions * Handle invoicing and ensure accurate job tracking and taking payment. What We’re Looking For: * Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. * A proactive, can-do attitude, and the ability to take ownership of issues. * Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. * A proven track record of achieving targets and goals. * Excellent customer service skills with an eye for upsell opportunities. * A keen attention to detail in all aspects of work. * A full UK driving licence is essential.
