We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Service Technician with main dealer experience to join our team in Epsom. Must have a Level 3 light vehicle repair certification, full UK driving licence, own tools, and right to work in the UK. (There is no possibility of work sponsorship for this role). We need someone who can hit the workshop floor running, so 2 years experience within a Main dealer workshop is required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring performance and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and a passion for vehicle technology to develop their skills within a professional environment. Salary is experience dependent and is negotiable subject to having the correct experience and certification.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, NO WEEKENDS, 08.00 - 17.30. Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 negotiable plus bonus, £40,000 plus OTE.

Duties:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools to carry out assembly, repair, or modification work
  • Maintain detailed records of all procedures and repairs
  • Aid vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Provide customer service by explaining repair work professionally
  • Perform equipment repair and maintenance to ensure workshop efficiency
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repair within a Main dealer background
  • A strong mechanical knowledge base and certification
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools safely
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and equipment repair methods
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and diagnostics
  • Prior experience working with automotive electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
