We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor within our Motor trade company. You will need motor trade experience for this role and a full Driving licence preferably clean but with no more than 6 points.
Salary: £28,000 plus bonus earning up to £32,000 per year including commission. Working hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:30 plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 08:00 - 12:00.
As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. Your primary goal will be to assist customers with their vehicle service needs and ensure their satisfaction.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to the service department
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle inspections
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer
- Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs or maintenance
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
- Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate records of payments received
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally
