We are looking for a technically minded account manager to join our client's team. In this role you will be supporting clients, interpreting technical drawings, producing quotes and more. The right candidate will have previous experience in a laser cutting, fabrication or an engineering environment and previous experience of using a quoting system.
As the new Technical Account Manager, you will:
- Creating quotes to customer requirements.
- Understanding technical drawings and nesting parts efficiently.
- Manage key accounts daily, ensuring the highest level of customer service is upheld.
- Chasing feedback, revising quotes, and closing sales.
- Meeting and exceeding targets across profits, turnover and conversions.
- Ensure compliance to 5S and HSE.
Requirements for this role:
- Previous sales experience in the Laser Cutting and Fabrication industry.
- Able to understand technical drawings and interpret this to quoting systems.
- Good understanding of various sales and quoting systems (Lantek preferred).
- Create quotes for the fabrication and laser cutting industry.
- Great communications skills and a strong ability to build relationships.
- Track record for meeting deadlines, customer-focused with a commercial awareness.
This is an office-based position. Hours for this role are Monday-Thursday (8:30am-5:00pm) and Friday (8am-4:30pm). This role is based in Ilkeston so candidates must be able to reliably commute.
