Stock Replenishment Operative (Night Shift) in Stockport, SK4 - working for our client who are an employee-owned cash and carry site experiencing rapid growth due to high demand. This is a hands-on, physically active role within a retail and wholesale distribution environment. You will play a key role in ensuring shelves are fully replenished, stock is accurately located, and pallets are safely moved from racking to aisles using FLT equipment. You will receive a full health & safety induction and site tour on your first day.
Working Hours
Sunday to Thursday 9:00pm - 6:00am
40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) safely to remove pallets from racking and place them onto designated aisles
- Refill shelves accurately to ensure full replenishment with no missing or misplaced stock
- Transport stock from goods-in and delivery bays to stockrooms and shop floor locations
- Manually handle stock where required (lifting, stacking, unpacking)
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced retail/warehouse environment
- Receive and process high volumes of deliveries accurately
- Create neat, well-presented shelves and displays to support customer experience
- Carry out daily FLT safety checks and report any faults
Requirements
- FLT licence preferred (Reach)
- In-house licences accepted - 1-day Reach FLT conversion available
- Candidates without an FLT licence must be willing to be trained
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous retail, wholesale, warehouse, or stock replenishment experience is essential
- Strong physical stamina for manual stock handling
- Willingness to work night shifts
PPE & Dress Code
- Steel toe cap safety boots required
- Black trousers or combat trousers only (no shorts)
- Hi-vis required only when operating FLT or working in Goods In
