SMT Operative - Mansfield Are you an experienced SMT Operative looking for a new opportunity within the electronics manufacturing industry? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced SMT Operative to join an established electronics manufacturing business based in Clipstone, Mansfield . This is a permanent, full-time position working within a specialist electronics manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and be confident setting up and operating SMT production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate SMT screen printing equipment Set up and operate pick and place equipment Operate convection reflow ovens Manufacture and assemble PCB assemblies to the required quality standards Carry out visual inspection of PCB assemblies Identify and report any quality or production issues Work from circuit diagrams, wiring schematics and production documentation Identify electronic components and understand component datasheets Follow company production and quality procedures Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment Work as part of the wider production team to meet production requirements Requirements: Must have previous experience working within an electronics manufacturing environment Must have hands-on experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Experience setting up and operating screen printing equipment Experience setting up and operating pick and place machinery Experience operating reflow ovens Good component recognition skills Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams and wiring schematics Good visual inspection skills Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamworking skills Ability to work independently when required Ability to work to company standards, procedures and production deadlines Desirable Experience: SMT programming experience IPC experience or qualifications PCB assembly experience Experience working with electronic components and datasheets About this role: Permanent, full-time position Competitive salary (£15-£16 per hour ), dependent upon experience Company pension On-site parking Long-term opportunity within an established electronics manufacturing business How to Apply Do you have previous SMT experience and are looking for your next opportunity within electronics manufacturing?
