An established manufacturing business based in Ripley is looking to recruit a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their workshop team. This is a long-term opportunity producing high-quality fabricated and welded components for specialist equipment used across a range of industries.
This is a hands-on, shop-floor role, ideal for a MIG Welder / Fabricator who enjoys working from engineering drawings and being part of a close-knit production team.
Working Hours: Flexible Hours Weekend overtime available (Saturday & Sunday)
The Role – MIG Welder / Fabricator
- MIG welding and fabricating metal components from engineering drawings
- Producing fabricated parts and assemblies for bespoke equipment
- Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and specification requirements
- Using workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Working closely with other welders and fabricators to meet production targets
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For – MIG Welder / Fabricator
- Previous experience working as a MIG Welder / Fabricator
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
- Experience working with a range of metals and fabrication techniques
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when required
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience fabricating components for industrial or specialist equipment
- Background in a manufacturing or production environment
