Loading Operative in Enfield

Recruit 2 You are hiring for a Loading Operative to work permanent night shift based in Enfield on a temporary to permanent basis for our client!

We are looking for a reliable and organised individual to manage overnight vehicle loading and dispatch at our clients Enfield site. You will make sure that all orders are loaded accurately and on time while following health and safety rules.

The working hours for this role are 11pm-7:30am Monday-Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break (40 hours a week)

The pay rate is £16.47 per hour.

Main Responsibilities:

Open the site and prepare for the night shift.

Move vehicles into the correct order for loading.

Receive and unload stock deliveries from our Derby site

Combine customer orders from both Enfield and Derby for delivery

Load stock onto vans in the correct delivery order and maintain vehicle temperatures

Reload any returns going back to Derby

Make sure all paperwork is completed correctly (manifests, driver logs, etc.)

Clean all delivery vans once a week

Keep the dispatch area and yard clean and tidy after each shift

What You Need:

A valid UK driving licence

Forklift or electric pallet truck licence

Able to lift up to 25kg

Basic reading, writing and number skills

Experience working in a warehouse or food environment (cold/wet conditions)

Desirable:

Health & Safety knowledge or qualification

Experience using scanners

Basic IT and problem-solving skills
