New Opportunity - Supply Chain Coordinator
Do you have supply chain knowledge and experience of supporting teams with buying, stock and logistics?
Our client is looking for a
Supply Chain Coordinator to provide front-line support to the Supply Chain, Planning and Buying teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, managing supplier communications, supporting stock control processes and ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services across the business.
As the new Supply Chain Coordinator, you will
- Control and coordinate the internal booking process with hauliers, suppliers and depots
- Update and manage quotations on the company MRP system
- Maintain and process the POR system daily, ensuring supplier orders are received as required
- Manage supplier non-arrival and shortage reports across all depots
- Collate supplier performance data and prepare presentations for buyers
- Manage missing CMR and dispatch note processes for operational accounts
- Coordinate contract beef allocations
- Maintain specification and non-conformance claim spreadsheets
- Support departments with claims, short weights, contract confirmations and communication across the business
- Monitor and reconcile external returnable equipment across all depots
- Manage Tosca returnable tray stock control
- Support the Supply Chain Stock Control Team Leader in developing a positive and proactive team culture
- Coordinate blast freezing and tempering raw material requirements where required
- Book coldstore intakes onto the MRP system with all relevant documentation
- Analyse supplier traceability manifests from contract beef deliveries
- Communicate coldstore releases and update stock transfers within the MRP system
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety policies and legal obligations
- Support company initiatives and maintain professional development standards
- Carry out any additional duties required by the business
Requirements for the role
- Strong p revious experience within supply chain, logistics, stock control or purchasing environments
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively
- Comfortable working under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
