Position: Stock Replenishment Operative
Join our client’s growing team at the Somercotes, Alfreton employee‑owned cash and carry site.
As they expand due to high demand, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join their dynamic team across various shifts.
Working Hours
Regular hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9 pm to 5:30 am.
Pay
Key Responsibilities
- Stack and replenish merchandise on shelves and displays.
- Regularly restock shelves to replace items sold by customers.
- Work collaboratively within a team to efficiently move and replenish stock.
- Rotate and unpack stock for freshness and quality.
- Create attractive product displays to enhance the customer experience.
- Receive and process high volumes of deliveries.
- Allocate stock to shop floor and stockrooms.
- Take ownership of tasks in a busy environment.
- Training & Induction Process
- Initial short walk‑around of the site to assess suitability for the role.
- If successful, complete a full induction and sign‑off process.
• Buddy system
- Day 1: Work alongside a trained operative.
- Day 2: Replenishment with shadowing and support.
- Day 3: Working independently (flexible depending on individual progress).
- Weekly and monthly review meetings during the probation period.
- Contract Details
This role is offered on a temporary‑to‑permanent contract over 10 weeks. Uniforms are provided, and there is an on‑site canteen.

- Safety boots and hi‑vis required.
