New Opportunity - TIG & MIG Welder
Our client is looking for a TIG & MIG Welder to join their team.
In this role you will be using CAD drawings to weld bespoke stainless steel products.
The ideal candidate will have a positive working attitude and previous experience with TIG and MIG welding of stainless and mild steel.
As the new TIG & MIG Welder, you will
- Weld bespoke and standard stainless steel products to a high quality standard using CAD drawings.
- Work with 0.9mm – 8mm stainless steel and 1mm – 16mm mild steel.
- Work with fabricating both 1 off / small and 100+ / large batches of products.
- Sheet metal working and general fabrication of both mild and stainless steel.
- Use of air tools and grinding equipment to clean and prepare welds for polishing.
- Maintain welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and adhering to safety guidelines.
- General assembly and sub assembly works.
- Work closely with and support other teams and members of the Operations Team to ensure project timelines are fulfilled and all risks, non-conformances, hidden costs and snags are mitigated / captured.
Requirements for this position
- Previous experience in TIG & MIG welding.
- Confident with fabricating small and large batches of products.
- The ability to work with 0.9mm - 8mm stainless steel and 1mm - 16mm mild steel.
