About the Role
We’re recruiting a Senior SAP Project Manager to join a global manufacturing business as part of a major S/4HANA transformation. This is a brand-new role within a newly formed S/4 core team, reporting into the Project Director.
You’ll take ownership of the global S/4HANA programme, building the plan and shaping the internal delivery team. With a North America pilot now live, the focus will shift to consolidating seven ECC6 instances into a single global S/4 system — starting in Europe this October.
This role requires deep expertise in end-to-end SAP delivery, advising on internal vs external delivery, and defining the structure and capability of the team, with future leadership responsibility for workstream leads across data, change management, integration, and testing.
What You’ll Do
- Lead planning and delivery of the global S/4HANA rollout, consolidating multiple ECC6 systems
- Advise on internal vs external delivery scope and work with the selected SI
- Provide strategic guidance to the business, identifying blind spots and steering the programme
- Define and shape the S/4 delivery team, building future capability across multiple workstreams
- Engage with senior IT and business stakeholders
- Manage project risks, budgets, and timelines
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 full end-to-end SAP lifecycle implementations, including at least 1 S/4HANA
- Knowledge of S/4HANA programme delivery, integration, and data migration
- Experience advising on internal vs external delivery models
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- UK-based, with occasional travel to the North West and internationally (~25%)
- Fully remote working (occasional office visits in the North West)
