Recruit 121, a leading recruiter for Finance, Technology & Executive, is partnering with a fast‑growing, multi‑disciplinary group that brings together legal, corporate finance, tax and strategic communications. The client is looking for two Commercial Solicitors to support a portfolio of retained commercial clients in Cardiff. You will be based in Cardiff 4 days a week in the office and 1 day working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a portfolio of retained commercial clients
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
- Work with colleagues across legal, finance, and tax to provide joined‑up advisory support when required
- Produce clear, concise documents including risk reports, contract summaries, drafting templates and negotiating complex commercial contracts
- Manage deadlines across multiple matters simultaneously
- Support wider commercial initiatives and business development where appropriate
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate level – 3–4+ years PQE
- Ability to manage matters with minimal supervision
- Some experience supervising juniors is advantageous
- Ready to "hit the ground running"
- Experience drafting and negotiating Software licences, Distribution/reseller/supply agreements, Sale of goods/services, Consultancy and franchise agreements
