Our client is a global leader in advanced engineering and manufacturing, developing world-class off-highway machines across construction, agriculture and industrial sectors. With a strong focus on innovation, electrification, automation and intelligent machine technologies, they are seeking a Test & Validation Engineer to support the development, validation and optimisation of next-generation products.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering test and validation activities aligned with programme objectives.
- Creating and executing validation plans to assess product performance, durability and reliability.
- Supporting prototype builds and evaluating machine performance in real-world operating environments.
- Analysing test data and using engineering insights to improve product quality and robustness.
- Conducting laboratory, rig and machine-based testing activities.
- Investigating technical issues and supporting structured root cause analysis activities.
- Interpreting machine and test data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Supporting corrective actions through to successful validation and implementation.
- Working closely with engineering teams to improve product performance and customer value.
- Supporting engineering reviews, gateway assessments and change management activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience within product development, test engineering or validation environments.
- Experience supporting testing, development or validation activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex engineering issues.
- Experience working hands-on with machinery as well as within an engineering environment.
- Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
