Our client is a global leader in advanced engineering and manufacturing, developing world-class off-highway machines across construction, agriculture and industrial sectors. With a strong focus on innovation, electrification, automation and intelligent machine technologies, they are seeking a Test & Validation Engineer to support the development, validation and optimisation of next-generation products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering test and validation activities aligned with programme objectives.
  • Creating and executing validation plans to assess product performance, durability and reliability.
  • Supporting prototype builds and evaluating machine performance in real-world operating environments.
  • Analysing test data and using engineering insights to improve product quality and robustness.
  • Conducting laboratory, rig and machine-based testing activities.
  • Investigating technical issues and supporting structured root cause analysis activities.
  • Interpreting machine and test data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Supporting corrective actions through to successful validation and implementation.
  • Working closely with engineering teams to improve product performance and customer value.
  • Supporting engineering reviews, gateway assessments and change management activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within product development, test engineering or validation environments.
  • Experience supporting testing, development or validation activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex engineering issues.
  • Experience working hands-on with machinery as well as within an engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
