Are you a skilled Toolmaker with experience in press and casting tooling? Join our leading Automotive/Manufacturing company and take ownership of the mechanical build, repair, and improvement of jigs, fixtures, and assembly tooling.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and assemble fixtures from CAD/2D drawings and BOMs.
- Repair and maintain tooling to meet quality and delivery standards.
- Prepare, assemble, and fit new casting steels.
- Improve tooling performance, reliability, and quality.
- Support assembly cells and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train colleagues and ensure clear handovers.
You’ll Need:
- City & Guilds Toolmaker qualification or equivalent.
- Experience with high-volume press tooling (300+ tons) and assembly tools.
- Welding (TIG/MIG/Arc) and non-CNC machining skills.
- Knowledge of quality procedures and GD&T.
- Problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel in Europe for installations/commissioning.
