We’re seeking an ambitious and collaborative professional to join our growing Northern division.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in BEMS commissioning and troubleshooting within commercial and industrial environments
- Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, and control strategies
- Experience with Trend, Schneider, and Sigma systems (preferred)
- Ability to configure and programme BEMS components, including sensors, controllers, and software interfaces
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and Ethernet/IP
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail in project delivery
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of energy efficiency practices, sustainability standards, and UK regulations (advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering a best-in-class service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Conducting site inspections and building system assessments (HVAC, lighting, and controls) to identify opportunities for BEMS integration and optimisation
- Working closely with project managers and clients to define project scope and requirements
- Developing and implementing commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules in line with industry standards
- Configuring and programming BEMS hardware and software for seamless system integration
- Performing functional testing to ensure systems operate correctly and efficiently
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during commissioning and post-installation
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimise system performance
- Providing training and technical support to clients and end users
- Producing comprehensive documentation, including reports, manuals, and as-built drawings
- Keeping up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices
- Supporting continuous improvement and development of BEMS capabilities
