Hydraulics Design Engineer Cambridgeshire | Permanent | 40 hours per week We are seeking an experienced Hydraulics Design Engineer to join an established engineering team in Burwell, Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong hydraulic design expertise to take ownership of the design, development and delivery of hydraulic systems and equipment across a range of engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and specify hydraulic systems, circuits and components to meet project requirements, performance expectations and relevant engineering standards. Produce and interpret hydraulic schematics, engineering drawings, technical specifications and supporting documentation. Carry out hydraulic system calculations, component selection and technical assessments to ensure system performance, efficiency and reliability. Support projects throughout the full engineering lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to manufacture, assembly, testing, commissioning and installation. Work closely with production, procurement and supply chain teams to ensure hydraulic designs are practical, cost-effective and suitable for manufacture.
