Role Purpose:
To polish and finish tooling and electrodes using a variety of hand tools and precision equipment to achieve the required surface standards and tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polish tooling and electrodes to the specified surface finish with optimal efficiency.
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and competently, including ultrasonic machines and die grinders.
- Polish, fit, and assemble tooling and dies using appropriate tools.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
- Work to tight tolerances and inspect own work to ensure standards are met.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process and work independently when required.
- Support the implementation of company policies and business objectives.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Take responsibility for health, safety, and environmental risks, reporting any concerns appropriately.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within your capability as required.
