An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Private Client Solicitor to join a growing team based in Weybridge, Surrey.
The role is ideal for someone committed to delivering excellent client service and making a meaningful difference in peoples lives. You will take responsibility for a varied caseload and contribute to the continued development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting wills and will trusts
  • Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Handling estate administration
  • Supporting senior team members on more complex cases
  • Provide high-quality service to existing clients while helping enhance the departments reputation
  • Handle a range of work including wills, LPAs, and probate matters
  • Work closely with directors and colleagues across multiple offices
  • Prepare forms, letters, and correspondence, and collate supporting documents
  • Liaise with clients and third parties via phone and email
  • Carry out general clerical and administrative tasks
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned by the Directors

Experience And Skills Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a Private Client team
  • Solid background in estate administration, wills, and LPAs
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer (LPC, BPTC, or equivalent)
  • Excellent client-facing and telephone manner
  • Flexible and reliable approach to workload
  • Personable and confident in handling client referrals and new enquiries
  • Accurate and efficient in following instructions, with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Sound knowledge of risk management
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willing to travel to other offices or client locations as needed
