Our mission is to ensure that creators can fully control their creative process with AI, providing them with innovative tools to turn ideas into reality. If you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI, we want you on board!

About the Role

You’ll work at the intersection of design and machine learning, applying our model to real creative scenarios to uncover where it works, where it fails, and how it can improve. We’re looking for practicing designers who work from real briefs, references, and constraints — not artificial prompt experiments. Your taste, judgment, and ability to define quality will directly shape how the model evolves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply generative models to real-world design scenarios, including editorial illustration, marketing visuals, product imagery, brand assets, and early-stage concept ideation.
  • Evaluate generated outputs to identify quality gaps, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement, documenting findings clearly and constructively.
  • Curate high-quality, rights-cleared reference images and articulate why each reference represents a strong target for the intended use case.
  • Compare and rank generated images using defined criteria such as composition, visual quality, consistency, and usability within product or marketing contexts.
  • Source and curate image sets from permitted and licensed sources that reflect contemporary visual trends and broadly recognized style categories.
  • Develop realistic use-case scenarios with clear objectives, constraints, and desired outcomes to guide model evaluation and iteration.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a designer, illustrator, art director, or visual creative.
  • A portfolio with recent and relevant work.
  • Strong visual taste and aesthetic judgment.
  • Experience working with real design briefs and constraints.
  • Ability to clearly explain why one visual solution is better than another.
  • Comfort using experimental tools and providing structured feedback.
  • Hands-on experience with AI image tools (and ideally chat-based AI).

Nice to Have

  • Background in branding, marketing, editorial, product design, or illustration.
  • Agency or studio experience across multiple brands.
  • Freelance experience across diverse projects.
  • Interest in AI, generative models, or creative tooling.

What We Offer

  • Full-time or part-time remote work (minimum ~20 hours/week).
  • Work on real problems at the frontier of design and ML.
  • Help shape next-generation creative AI tools.
  • Competitive salary.
