As a UX Researcher at Recraft, you will play a critical role in understanding user needs, behaviours, and pain points to help shape the design and functionality of our AI-powered creative platform. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that enhance the user experience. From running user interviews and usability tests to analysing behavioural data, you will ensure that our AI-driven tools are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute UX research initiatives to gather insights on user behaviour, needs, and challenges.
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to evaluate product usability and identify pain points.
- Analyse and interpret research findings, translating them into actionable design and product recommendations.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user insights into product development.
- Develop user personas, customer journeys, and experience maps to guide design decisions.
- Monitor and analyse behavioural data to uncover trends and opportunities for product improvement.
- Advocate for the user, ensuring that research findings shape decision-making across the company.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX research, AI, and creative technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in UX research, user testing, or human-centred design.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Experience conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Proficiency in research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyse behavioural data and synthesise findings into clear insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey research findings to cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with AI, SaaS, or creative tools is a plus.
