Job Summary

RecQuest is working on behalf of an ambitious law firm looking to expand its Family Law team and seeking a dedicated Family Law Solicitor to join them in Petersfield. They are searching for a motivated individual with 3+ years PQE, experienced in handling family law matters, who can manage and grow an existing caseload. Key

Responsibilities:

• Providing expert legal advice on family law matters, including divorce, separation, financial settlements, and cohabitation agreements.

• Advising on matters related to child arrangements, parental responsibility, and disputes.

• Drafting pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements tailored to clients\’ needs.

• Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations, ensuring their best interests are upheld.

• Handling sensitive cases involving domestic abuse and emergency injunctions.

• Advising on alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation and collaborative law.

What They Offer:

• Competitive salary range: £45,000 – £60,000

• Full-time, permanent role

• Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (minimum 3 years PQE) with experience in Family Law matters.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to independently manage a busy caseload.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in handling sensitive and emotional client situations.

• A compassionate, client-focused approach combined with business acumen to help build and grow the firm\’s client base.

• Previous experience using case management systems.
