About the role

The role is for a Green Wellbeing Volunteer supporting people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. You will work with a volunteer coordinator and the team to plan and deliver short wellbeing walks and activities in the local community. The position is ideal for someone who is physically fit, enjoys being outdoors and wants to nurture people’s well-being through nature and creative activities.

  • Plan and lead nature walks in local parks and beaches.
  • Organise and participate in outdoor games such as rounders, cricket and football.
  • Help with environmental projects and litter-picking initiatives.
  • Develop and design new outdoor activities to promote relaxation and recovery.
  • Support clients with community appointments, educational applications and leaf-letting at events.
