About the role
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in North Dorset as a Support Worker. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and improved well-being. You will work closely with clients, colleagues and partner organisations to reduce substance-related harm and promote positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload, including devising, implementing, and reviewing recovery and treatment plans.
- Support individuals from initial engagement through structured treatment to sustained recovery.
- Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
- Collaborate with key partners and internal colleagues to achieve the best possible health and well-being outcomes.

Qualifications and experience
- Experience in substance misuse services.
- A background in mental health support.
- Experience within the criminal justice sector.

- A strong portfolio of volunteering in a similar role.
- Experience in case management and the ability to manage expectations within an emotionally demanding role.
