About the Role
As a Recovery Coordinator you will provide 1:1 support for service users, from brief interventions through to structured treatment, including groups. You will take a holistic, whole‑person approach, ensuring each service user’s care package covers all areas of their wellbeing and supports them to achieve the best possible outcomes and safe reintegration into the community.
Responsibilities
- Manage a reduced caseload appropriate to part‑time hours, devising, implementing and reviewing ongoing recovery plans and treatment.
- Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions, supporting service user progression from engagement through to self‑sustained recovery.
- Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery capital and social connections.
- Use the online case management system, SystmOne, to effectively manage recovery planning, safeguarding and risk management processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience holding a caseload.
- Knowledge and/or experience of substance misuse.
- Experience supporting vulnerable people whose lives have been affected by alcohol and/or drug use.
- A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care.
