About the role
Melbourne View is a 24‑hour supported housing service. The remit is to provide mental health support to 12 residents in their own self‑contained flats. As a 24‑hour service, you will be expected to work a mix of early‑morning, late, overnight sleep shifts, weekends and public holidays. Overtime is available.
What you’ll do
- Manage and improve the physical and mental well‑being of residents.
- Develop life‑skills including budgeting, money management, tenancy sustainment, access to public services, further education and/or employment, and living well in the community.
- Help residents live more fulfilling lives and develop new meanings and purposes.
- Enable residents to take control over their lives through their own choices and decisions.
