Recovery Navigator – Likewise – Location: Portland House, Sheffield S3 8UG
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am‑5pm with a late night on a Thursday 11am‑7pm (on a rota basis).
About the role
As a Recovery Navigator, you will guide individuals toward recovery, offering tailored support and coordinating services for their well‑being.
You will manage a caseload, devise, implement, and review ongoing recovery and treatment plans, facilitate progression from engagement through structured treatment to self‑sustained recovery, and reduce substance‑related harm.

- Facilitate and promote individuals’ progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self‑sustained recovery.
- Reduce substance‑related harm to individuals and the wider community.
- Work collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well‑being outcomes for individuals.
About you
- Experience in the substance misuse sector, or mental health support, criminal justice field, or a relevant academic background (Criminology, Psychology, Law, or Sociology).
- A strong portfolio of volunteering in a similar role.
- Case management experience and the ability to manage expectations in this emotionally demanding role.
