Location: Exeter, Barnstaple, Newton Abbott

Timing: 2‑4 hours a week, flexible weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

Overview: We’re recruiting volunteers to support the Flourish in Nature programme, which aims to improve mental and physical wellbeing by encouraging people to reconnect with nature through in‑house, peer/volunteer‑led activities and outsourced activities from local providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote Flourish in Nature activities.
  • Identify potential community activities.
  • Be a point of contact for community activity providers.
  • Risk‑assess group activities and complete risk assessment paperwork.
  • Attend activities in a position of responsibility, assessing whether it is safe for attendees to participate.
  • Run and supervise activities alongside other Activity Lead Volunteers.
  • Identify and report any concerns, risks, or incidents to Community Development Leads or duty managers.
