About the Role

As Administration Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration team, including reception staff, general administrators and a clinical administrator. You will support the delivery of an efficient, professional and compliant administration service across the Forward Leeds hubs. You will manage day-to-day administration operations, support staff development and ensure systems and processes are embedded effectively within the service.

What You’ll Do

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the administration function within Forward Leeds
  • Line manage a team of administrators and reception staff across the Leeds hubs
  • Manage, mentor and support staff development, including supervision, induction, recruitment and performance reviews
  • Coordinate and support the Area Manager with effective building management
  • Oversee weekly and monthly health and safety checks
  • Support appointment management, including creating and maintaining staff rotas
  • Ensure the administration function operates efficiently and in line with organisational processes and CQC standards
  • Maintain accurate records and support effective use of electronic management systems
  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
  • Support service projects and operational priorities where required

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need

  • Previous experience in an administration role
  • Experience of leading or supervising a team
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programmes
  • Experience using electronic management information or caseload management systems
  • The ability to work flexibly and manage competing priorities
  • A proactive approach with a positive, can-do attitude
