About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and committed Children, Young People and Family Worker to support families facing complex challenges. This is a rewarding, hands‐on role where you will manage a caseload, deliver evidence‐based interventions and work alongside partner agencies to achieve positive, sustainable outcomes for children and families.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Managing a caseload of children, young people and families
  • Building trusting, respectful relationships
  • Contributing to assessments and Early Help planning
  • Delivering tailored 1:1 interventions and structured group programmes (including CRAFT and SMART Groups)
  • Working collaboratively with multi‐agency partners
  • Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate case records
  • Ensuring safeguarding remains central to your work
  • Working flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced in working with children, young people and families
  • Skilled at engaging individuals facing complex or challenging circumstances
  • Confident managing a caseload and balancing competing demands
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding and professional boundaries
  • Compassionate, resilient and solution‐focused
  • An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is essential, or a willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience in therapeutic approaches such as CBT, MI or family‐based interventions would be advantageous.
