The Role
This isn’t just a sales role, it’s an opportunity to help businesses make greener choices. As our Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our Workplace Supplies offering by promoting sustainable and circular workplace supplies that reduce waste, lower carbon impact and support responsible procurement. You will be responsible for generating your own new business opportunities while also converting warm leads introduced through Recorra’s recycling client base.
The role is primarily office-based at our SE1 site, with flexibility around client meetings. If you have a full day of meetings, there’s no need to come into the office.

Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking and follow-up activity
- Convert warm introductions provided through Recorra’s recycling and waste management teams
- Engage with a wide range of organisations, typically those with 50+ staff
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline from first contact through to onboarding
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand needs and propose solutions
- Promote our full range of workplace supplies, including sustainable and circular product options
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term success
