Recorder is rebuilding commercial insurance from the ground up. Brokers are stuck with legacy tools and manual workflows. We’re giving them the modern software they deserve—user-first workflows, clean data, no repetition. Just fast, flexible infrastructure that actually works. Founded by a team of previously successful fintech entrepreneurs, Recorder is bringing the speed and flexibility of modern SaaS to the insurance market. We’ve already signed leading brokers and FTSE 100 insurers, and we’re scaling rapidly. You’ll be joining a small, ambitious team with deep experience in fintech and insurance. We move fast, give people real responsibility, and back them to grow.
The role: We’re looking for a sharp, curious and client-facing generalist to join us as a Client Solutions Associate. This is a hybrid role spanning product, delivery, and customer onboarding. You’ll start by supporting the founders and senior team on client implementations—shadowing calls, configuring workflows, and learning the product inside‑out. Within 6 months, you’ll be owning implementation projects yourself. It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their career, likely with a background in consulting, banking, or tech, who wants to work directly with clients, take on real responsibility fast, and learn how modern software gets delivered in the real world.
What you’ll do:
- Support the implementation of new clients onto Recorder
- Join client calls alongside founders and the product team
- Translate broker workflows into digitised processes using internal tools
- Own full implementation projects after just a few months: requirements, config, and delivery
- Build internal onboarding playbooks and documentation
- Spot opportunities to make delivery more scalable and repeatable
Who you are:
- 1–2 years of experience in consulting, banking, SaaS, or similar
- Strong analytical thinker with a structured, logical mindset
- Technically literate—you can handle complex software workflows (but don’t need to code)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and learning by doing
- Confident communicator who listens well and asks good questions
- Hungry to take ownership and grow quickly
- Experience in insurance, fintech, or enterprise SaaS
- Exposure to process automation or workflow digitisation
- Familiarity with internal and customer-facing documentation tools
