Recordati is growing its UK Speciality and Primary Care (SPC) team, and we are recruiting a Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL for the North of the UK to join us at a genuinely exciting moment, as we prepare for an upcoming drug launch. This is a field-based role within a small, agile team where your scientific insight and ideas will influence strategy and help shape how we bring new innovation to patients. Guided by Recordati’s values of innovation, empowerment, focus and collaboration, you will build meaningful scientific partnerships, support high quality medical engagement and play a key role in strengthening our presence across the UK.
We are looking for someone with strong cardiovascular knowledge, who thrives on scientific exchange and enjoys working cross functionally in a fast moving environment. Reporting to the Medical Director, the MSL/Senior MSL will lead the medical and scientific activities within the North of the UK to inform and educate physicians, support staff, payers and any other relevant industry groups on Recordati’s portfolio within the Cardiovascular and Urology therapy areas. The MSL must also support and comply with all relevant internal and external regulations, guidelines and policies at both local and international level.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a scientific expert in cardiovascular and urology, providing high quality medical and scientific exchange with healthcare professionals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, clinical experts, payers and relevant NHS stakeholders.
- Support upcoming launch activities, including scientific training, external engagement and evidence generation.
- Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and communicate complex scientific data clearly and compliantly.
- Represent Recordati at national and international congresses, capturing insights and sharing scientific updates.
- Develop and deliver medical education, training and disease area materials for internal and external audiences.
- Maintain deep understanding of local treatment pathways, competitor activity and evolving clinical practice across your region.
Required Education
Accredited Health Care Professional (Pharmacist) or Life Science Degree, PhD or MSc.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as an MSL, ideally within cardiovascular therapy areas. Urology experience is a bonus.
- Experience supporting or leading a drug launch is highly desirable.
- Confident communicator able to tailor scientific discussions to different audiences.
- Experience in interpretation and writing of scientific information.

- Skilled at building trusted relationships with KOLs and clinical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a field based role and contributing to a small, collaborative team.
- Strong understanding of UK healthcare systems, pathways and market access considerations.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.

Fluent in English both written and spoken.
