We are currently recruiting for a Program Manager with extensive experience in design development and detailed engineering, overseeing complex technical projects from concept through execution. Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, and ensuring alignment with technical standards, quality, and timelines.

The candidate must be experienced in Agile methodologies, including SAFe, to drive program execution, improve processes, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions on schedule.

Essential Duties

  • Define program scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, milestones, resources, risks, and dependencies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead and support cross-functional teams (software, hardware, product, design, QA, operations) to ensure effective execution and goal attainment.
  • Oversee execution of all projects to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery while proactively identifying and resolving risks, issues, blockers, and conflicts.
  • Coordinate inter-team dependencies and external constraints, maintaining alignment on priorities and delivery plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders; manage expectations and communicate program status, risks, issues, and progress.
  • Develop, manage, and report on program budgets; track expenditures, ensure financial targets are met, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance analysis, best-practice implementation, and corrective actions.
  • Support internal ISO audits and act as a key contact for external quality audits related to program and engineering processes.

Primary Duties

  • Lead and coordinate program teams to achieve defined objectives.
  • Ensure programs align with strategic and business goals.
  • Communicate program status, priorities, and expectations to stakeholders.
  • Delegate and oversee project activities to ensure timely execution.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks and issues.
  • Manage program budgets and financial reporting.
  • Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Apply project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree qualified in a relevant science-based honours degree in Electronics/Software/Mechanics Engineering/Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications.
  • 4+ years of relevant engineering industry experience in program management.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex programs with successful outcomes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Work Requirements

  • Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel, may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
