Nortons HIAB Services currently have a vacancy for an experienced Class 1 Wagon & Drag HIAB Driver/Operator based in Greater Manchester. We are a long-established family business that prides itself on looking after its employees. The average length of service across our driving team exceeds 15 years, reflecting our commitment to providing stable, long-term employment. Due to continued growth and investment in our modern fleet, we are looking to recruit additional drivers to join our team.

The role involves operating our Wagon & Drag HIAB vehicles on a variety of regional and nationwide projects throughout the UK. Nights out will be required when necessary.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Class 1 (HGV C+E) licence holder
  • HIAB experience and relevant certification preferred
  • Experience with wide and abnormal loads advantageous
  • Professional, reliable and safety‑conscious attitude
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance record

For the right candidate, we are willing to provide HIAB training if you currently hold a Class 1 licence but do not yet have HIAB qualifications.
